If you and I were friends back in college than you know how much I love Chalene Johnson.  Her program Turbo Jam started my love of at-home fitness programs.  She's motivating, fun, and a skilled personal trainer.  Turbo Jam was a fun kickboxing workout set to Hip-Hop music.  I think the dancer and cheerleader in me loved that aspect of the workout.  Chalene has several programs, written various personal development books and travels around as a motivational speaker and entrepreneur.  PiYo is her latest and greatest achievement and it has stemmed from a lifetime of rigorous physical activity.  She said in recent speech that her body was "beat up" and that she was suffering from Injuries.  Creating PiYo was her solution.


It is remarkable combinations of of low impact moves and high intensity to improve your flexibility, stamina, and strength.  It is yoga and Pilates inspired but it performing the moves all together gives you a great cardio workout too.

You will see defined muscles and core strength without all of the jumping or lifting of weights. It is a perfect workout for anyone even if you have mobility problems, joint soreness or any past injuries that have created limitations.
